Ministry of Education Announces 543 Certified Career Experience Institutions for the First Half of 2023
The Ministry of Education and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the results of the selection for the ‘2023 1st Education Donation Career Experience Certification Institutions (hereinafter referred to as certified institutions)’ on the 5th.
The Education Donation Career Experience Certification System is a program that grants certification to institutions providing free, high-quality career experience programs to elementary, middle, and high school students nationwide.
Certified institutions receive a certificate issued in the name of the Minister of Education and are granted the right to use the certification mark for external promotion during the three-year validity period of the certification.
The Ministry of Education currently operates a total of 2,621 certified career experience institutions, including 543 newly selected institutions, and schools wishing to participate in career experiences can check certified institutions and apply for programs on the career experience website ‘Ggoomgil’ (www.ggoomgil.go.kr).
The newly selected institutions include 77 organizations in new industry sectors, which will provide programs to help students cultivate competencies to respond to future society.
In addition, the inflow of public institutions within the region to certified career experience institutions is increasing, which is expected to provide high-quality career experience opportunities without blind spots.
