Promoting the 'No Paper Workplace' Campaign
Han Jong-hee, Vice Chairman and Head of Samsung Electronics' Device Experience (DX) Division, urged employees to create a paperless work culture.
On the 3rd, Vice Chairman Han sent an email to all employees stating, "Except in cases where it is absolutely necessary, we will refrain from reporting and holding meetings through documents."

Currently, Samsung Electronics is promoting the 'No Paper Workplace' campaign to establish a paperless work culture. Vice Chairman Han said, "Our company uses about 130,000 sheets of copy paper daily, and by saving this, we can preserve 60 trees. Over a year, this amounts to preserving 20,000 trees, which is by no means a small amount."
He added, "Beyond environmental protection, transitioning to a paperless work method is also a way to innovate and improve our work culture more efficiently."
