Elevator Worker in 20s Falls to Death... Police Raid Company
The police conducted a search and seizure of the company involved in the accident where a worker in his 20s fell to his death while working on an elevator.
The Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul searched the Otis Elevator Gangbuk Regional Headquarters at around 11 a.m. on the 30th and secured safety-related documents.
Additionally, the police booked middle manager A, who was responsible for supervising the elevator workers, on charges of professional negligence causing death and interrogated him on the 28th.
Earlier, on the 23rd, a 28-year-old worker who was inspecting an elevator alone at an apartment in Hongje-dong, Seoul, fell from the 7th floor to the 2nd basement level and died.
