Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon District, attended the '33rd Yangcheon Long-Life Culture University Integrated Graduation Ceremony' held at the Yangcheon Cultural Center Grand Theater on the 30th, where he presented certificates of completion to approximately 300 graduates.
This event was organized to improve the previous small-scale graduation ceremonies held by neighborhood and to create a space for communication and harmony among local seniors.
The first part featured the awarding of certificates, commendations, and letters of appreciation. The second part included a 'Hyo Concert' with performances by a fusion gugak group and a trot singer, creating a lively festival atmosphere.

Mayor Lee Gijae stated, “We plan to continuously expand substantial lifelong education courses so that seniors can enjoy vibrant cultural and leisure activities through learning,” adding, “We ask for the active interest and participation of seniors in the Long-Life Culture University programs to be held in Sinwol-dong and Sinjeong 3·4-dong in the second half of the year.”
