Restoration of Communications, Aiming to Minimize Forest and Human Damage
The Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with the three mobile carriers SK Telecom, KT, and LG Uplus on the 29th.
According to the Fire Headquarters, this agreement was promoted to ensure the rapid restoration of communication services at disaster sites such as wildfires and typhoons, and to minimize forest destruction and human casualties.
The Fire Headquarters and the three mobile carriers plan to establish a direct line (Hotline) to communicate quickly and smoothly with each other and share information.

Through this agreement, each carrier will provide emergency support for equipment such as mobile repeaters for firefighting activities at disaster sites, as well as emergency activation and available infrastructure.
The Fire Headquarters will promptly provide information and support firefighting efforts to minimize damage if a fire occurs at mobile carrier repeaters or major communication facilities.
