KT Increases Network Infrastructure Operation Efficiency with Subscription-Based AI
KT announced on the 29th that it has developed an 'AI Flow' technology that automatically manages artificial intelligence (AI) models necessary for network infrastructure operations and will apply it to ‘AiON’.
AiON is an on-premise monitoring solution that efficiently operates and manages enterprise-specific networks based on AI and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies. AI Flow is an AI model automation management technology that centrally manages the AI models applied to AiON.
To effectively utilize AiON, the AI models applied to AiON must be continuously retrained. Previously, customers had to invest significant resources and capabilities by purchasing expensive hardware such as GPUs themselves and updating the training parameters of AI models.
Through AI Flow technology, KT has made it easy to manage AI models necessary for operating equipment linked to enterprise-specific networks by allowing customers to request AI services such as traffic prediction and quality anomaly detection.
When KT encrypts the data required for AI training and delivers it to the central server of AI Flow, AI Flow automatically processes everything from preprocessing the training data to AI model training and generation. Additionally, KT’s AI experts manage the entire process to optimize AI model performance, including ▲creating new AI models ▲monitoring AI model performance ▲retraining and deploying AI models.
KT expects that customers will be able to apply desired AI services to AiON and monitor network infrastructure more efficiently without having to purchase additional hardware or possess AI experts for enterprise-specific network operations.
