Song Bong-seop, CEO of Samsung Electronics Service, received the 'Special Contribution Award' from the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).
Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 23rd that it held an award ceremony for the 'Special Contribution Award,' the '2023 Korea Industry Service Quality Index,' and the 'Customer Delight Call Center' certification in the call center category at the 'Samsung Electronics CS Academy' in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, attended by Han Soo-hee, CEO of Korea Management Association Consulting, among others.

View original imageThe Special Contribution Award, given to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the Korea Industry Service Quality Index, was awarded to the representatives of companies that have significantly contributed to the development of non-face-to-face service industries such as call centers among 55 industries and 334 surveyed companies. Korea Management Association Consulting explained, "The Special Contribution Award was decided through a merit review of representatives and companies that actively contributed to the development of the service industry."
Since launching the country's first 'IT Remote Diagnosis Service' in 1999 and introducing the 'ARS Voice Recognition System' in 2010, Samsung Electronics Service has applied new technologies such as chatbots and IoT to customer consultations. Additionally, it was the first in the industry to introduce 'specialized counseling for visually impaired customers' and operates 'sign language counseling for customers with hearing and speech disabilities,' ensuring that all customers can conveniently use Samsung Electronics products.
