Two Arrested for Daerim-dong Group Assault... Accomplice on the Run Being Tracked
Two members of a group who collectively assaulted a man with a weapon in an alleyway in Daerim-dong have been apprehended by the police.
On the 22nd, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced that two men, including a man identified as A, are under arrest and investigation on charges of aggravated assault. The remaining members of the group who participated in the crime but fled are currently being pursued.
Mr. A and his group are accused of collectively assaulting the victim, Mr. B, in an alleyway in Daerim-dong around 12:55 a.m. on the 17th while carrying weapons.
The police responded to a witness report, but Mr. A and his group had already fled the scene.
Based on CCTV footage and other evidence, the police arrested and detained two members of the group.

A police official stated, "The motive for the assault is still under investigation," and added, "We are continuing to pursue the members who fled."
