The company explained that this campaign was planned to support the blood supply, which is facing difficulties in maintaining an adequate blood inventory, contribute to solving social issues, and practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
SK Chemicals' blood donation campaign took place from the 9th to the 19th, involving employees working at affiliated companies such as SK Discovery, SK Gas, SK Bioscience, SK Plasma, and SK D&D located in Pangyo, as well as factories in Ulsan, Andong, Cheongju, and Pyeongtaek. Participants either donated blood directly through blood donation vehicles or contributed blood donation certificates.
SK Discovery and its affiliated companies have been conducting blood donation campaigns at least twice a year since 2020. This year, they plan to hold more than three blood donation campaigns. Kim Ki-dong, Head of Management Support at SK Chemicals, said, "We will continue to hold regular blood donation campaigns so that many SK members can participate in this precious life-saving activity."
