Mercedes-Benz Social Contribution Committee "Donates 20 EQB Vehicles to Social Welfare Organizations"
Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Establishment
The Mercedes-Benz Social Contribution Committee and the social welfare corporation Children and Future Foundation announced on the 20th that they held a vehicle donation ceremony at AMG Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 19th and delivered 20 electric sports utility vehicles (SUV) EQB nationwide to 20 social welfare institutions.
The donation ceremony was attended by about 100 people, including Thomas Klein, Chairman of the Mercedes-Benz Social Contribution Committee, Lee Hoon-gyu, Chairman of the Children and Future Foundation, executives and employees of the official Mercedes-Benz dealer, and representatives of 20 beneficiary social welfare institutions.
This activity is part of the all-employee participation program "Together with Mercedes-Benz." It has been carried out since 2016 to support convenient and safe transportation for vulnerable groups.

This year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Korea's founding, the largest-ever total of 20 donated vehicles were prepared. This is twice the number compared to last year.
The institutions receiving vehicle support were selected nationwide, including Yongsan Happy Disabled Independent Living Center in Seoul, Aeawon in Busan, Sarangui Dongsan in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, and Aejiram in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. Dealers and partners across the country directly listened to the stories of local social welfare institutions, selected places most in need of transportation, and then the final selection was made through screening by the Social Contribution Committee and the Children and Future Foundation.
