Sejong-si, Public-Private Joint Response to Prevent Jeonse Fraud 피해
Sejong City will launch a public-private joint response to prevent jeonse fraud damage.
On the 20th, Sejong City announced that it will form a 'public-private working council' with the Sejong branch of the Korea Association of Realtors (hereinafter referred to as the Association).
The council will operate the 'Real Estate Transaction Consultation System' and strengthen guidance and crackdowns on licensed realtors within the city.
The Real Estate Transaction Consultation System will be operated from the 22nd, every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Hall Civil Service Office, allowing citizens to receive consultations on real estate sales, housing, and commercial lease contracts.
Professional brokerage personnel affiliated with the Association will serve as consultants, providing citizens with information on appropriate prices for sales and jeonse, brokerage fees, contract procedures, and laws related to leases.
Earlier, the council began guidance and crackdowns on real estate brokerage offices from the 1st. Sejong City plans to impose administrative sanctions on violations of the Licensed Real Estate Agents Act detected during crackdowns, and if serious illegal activities are confirmed, report them to investigative agencies.
