The National Police Agency and the Anti-Drug Movement Headquarters are receiving ongoing participation and support from various figures for the drug prevention 'NO EXIT' campaign running until the end of the year.
According to the National Police Agency, as of the 19th, more than 3,000 people have participated in the 'NO EXIT' campaign, with the number of 'likes' reaching 650,000. Starting with Police Commissioner Yoon Hee-geun, who was nominated by Honorary Police Superintendent Choi Bul-am, notable figures such as Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, members of the National Assembly, actress Lim Ji-yeon, and Dr. Oh Eun-young have joined the campaign.
The NO EXIT campaign was launched to raise awareness about the seriousness of drugs and to promote vigilance against drug-related crimes in order to prevent drug offenses. A drug offender currently serving time in prison for drug-related crimes contacted Commissioner Yoon with a handwritten letter after learning about the campaign, expressing remorse and a desire to contribute to the campaign, stating, "I became addicted to drugs out of childhood curiosity."
Private companies and organizations such as Naver and Samsung Electronics are actively participating in promoting the campaign by utilizing billboards, packaging, receipts, and other means to help spread awareness.
