Tomorrow in Yeouido, 'BTS Festa' to Attract 300,000 People... Traffic Control and Deployment of Over 600 Police Officers
Seoul Police "Traffic Control in Yeouido Area"
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will deploy over 600 officers on-site for safety during the 'BTS 10th Anniversary Festa' event on the 17th. Additionally, traffic control measures will be implemented around Yeouido to ensure smooth traffic flow.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency plans to fully close Yeouidong-ro (from the south end of Mapo Bridge to in front of the 63 Building) from 2 PM to 10 PM on the day of the event.
Nearby sections such as Yeoui Sangryu IC and Gukje Geumyung-ro will also be controlled depending on the situation if vehicle congestion or large crowds of pedestrians occur.
To prevent illegal parking for event viewing, traffic patrol units will be deployed to enforce vehicle regulations and secure traffic flow. The Yeongdeungpo Police Station, the jurisdictional police station, discussed safety measures regarding traffic control and crowd management.
To minimize traffic congestion and inconvenience to citizens, 374 guide signs and banners will be installed around the controlled areas, and about 630 personnel including traffic police and traffic management staff will be deployed to direct vehicle detours.
