Guro-gu Launches Online Entrepreneur Training Program
Targeting 15 unemployed residents aged 19 and over … First-come, first-served online registration until the 28th
From July, an 8-week program combining theory and practice at Guro-gu Public Activity Support Center … Tuition and other support provided
Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) is launching support to nurture online entrepreneurs.
Guro-gu stated on the 16th, “In line with the current trend where many businesses thrive through the internet, we aim to assist online entrepreneurs,” adding, “We signed an agreement with the educational institution MH School earlier this month and prepared the program.”
The first recruitment targets 15 unemployed Guro-gu residents aged 19 and over.
The education will be held every Monday at 1 PM from July 3 to August 21 at the Guro-gu Public Activity Support Center.
The curriculum includes both theory and practice such as ▲Understanding the concept of online platforms ▲Applying and utilizing SNS marketing ▲Building a personal brand ▲Checking and receiving feedback on individual brands.
After completing the 8-week program, follow-up management such as one-on-one consulting, sharing success stories, and distributing performance materials will be provided.
Those who wish to apply can scan the QR code on the poster and fill out the application form by the 28th. Recruitment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tuition is free, and upon completion of the education, a certificate will be issued; if successful in starting a business, startup support funds will be provided.
Application results will be individually notified on the 30th of this month.

A Guro-gu official said, “We expect this program to help prospective entrepreneurs settle stably and achieve sustainable growth,” and added, “We hope for the interest and participation of those who wish to start an online business.”
