Kakao Games Launches 'Odin: Valhalla Rising' Service in Japan
Kakao Games announced on the 15th that it has officially launched the major multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "Odin: Valhalla Rising" (hereinafter "Odin"), developed by Lionheart Studio, in the Japanese market.
The Japanese service version of "Odin" can be downloaded from the local Google Play, Apple App Store, and the "Odin" PC homepage. It supports cross-play across platforms, just like the domestic version.
Kakao Games started pre-registration for "Odin" in Japan on April 27 and gathered 1 million users in about a month. To commemorate this, Kakao Games is giving rewards such as the "Ninja Appearance Avatar" to local Japanese users.
On the same day, a TV commercial featuring famous Japanese actor Joe Odagiri was officially aired. Playing the leader of a guild, Joe Odagiri created the atmosphere of "Odin" with his unique style, raising expectations for the game.

Kakao Games launched "Odin" in Taiwan and the Greater China region in March last year. With the release in Japan this year, the company plans to expand its service area and gradually implement its "Beyond Korea" business vision.
