Fire at Metal Processing Factory in Gimhae... No Casualties Reported

At around 3:45 a.m. on the 15th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a metal processing factory in Saengnim-myeon, Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire reduced half of Factory Building 1 to ashes and burned factory equipment before being completely extinguished at around 5:39 a.m.
There were no casualties as no one was inside the factory at the time of the fire, but property damage estimated at approximately 95 million KRW occurred, according to the fire department.
A total of 26 firefighting vehicles and 66 personnel, including firefighters, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) employees, and police officers, were deployed to the scene.
