The Continental GT is Bentley's grand tourer (a high-performance sports car designed for long-distance driving) model, first introduced in 2003. Since the launch of the third-generation model in Korea in 2020, a total of 542 units have been sold by April this year, accounting for 31.3% of Bentley's domestic sales.
The Mulliner is the flagship model of the Continental GT. Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, directly participated in its design and production. The front radiator grille features Mulliner's new signature 'Double Diamond' matrix pattern. Unique Mulliner characteristics are also evident in the wheels, side mirror lower welcome lamps, and other details.
The Azure is positioned between the GTS and Mulliner models. It features an Azure-exclusive grille on the lower front bumper. The Azure lettering badge is also mounted on the side of the body. Bentley explains that the GTS is a model that maximizes Bentley's unique outstanding performance sensibility. The exterior is adorned with design elements that convey a sense of dynamism.
All three models are equipped with a 4.0ℓ V8 twin-turbo engine that delivers a maximum output of 550 horsepower and a peak torque of 78.5 kg·m (770 Nm). They accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. The top speed is 318 km/h. Bentley's world-first electronically controlled active roll control system is standard.
The prices (including VAT, excluding individual consumption tax reduction) are 328.9 million KRW for the GTS, 345.4 million KRW for the Azure, and 380.7 million KRW for the Mulliner.
Meanwhile, Bentley Motors Korea plans to sequentially introduce Azure and S derivative models of other lineups such as the Flying Spur and Bentayga in the domestic market. Christian Schlick, General Manager of Bentley Motors Korea, said, “The three lineups of Continental GT Mulliner, Azure, and S commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Continental GT, which set the standard for luxury grand tourers, and are the first derivative models introduced to the Korean market. We will meet the diverse expectations and demands of Korean customers through strengthening the lineup across the entire model portfolio.”
