‘Coexistence of AI and Education’ … Dongmyeong University Creativity and Character Research Institute Holds Summer Academic Conference
The Creative and Character Research Institute at Dongmyung University held the 2023 Summer Academic Conference on the theme of ‘Coexistence of AI and Education’ on the 8th.
At the event, Professor Kim Jeong-in of Dongmyung University delivered a keynote lecture titled ‘AI Dreaming Beyond Humans,’ and Dr. Park Min-gyu presented on ‘AI Convergence Robot Utilization Teaching Model,’ while Professor Lee Young-woo of Catholic University of Busan gave a presentation on ‘Chat GPT Expansion and Image Generation AI.’
In the comprehensive discussion, chaired by Dr. Kim Byung-man of Gyeongnam National University, Dr. Son Yeon-ju of Dongmyung University, Jeong Soo-jung of Silla University, and Dr. Lee Seung-min of Baesan Elementary School participated in the debate. Additionally, Dr. Kim Dong-ryeol of Daegu National University of Education’s study on ‘Perceptions of AI Utilization in Science Education among Prospective Elementary School Teachers’ was selected as an outstanding poster paper.

The Creative and Character Research Institute at Dongmyung University is currently operating various research activities and creativity expansion programs for the local community, supported by funding from three foundations: the Humanities and Social Research Institute Support Project of the National Research Foundation of Korea, the Media Literacy Project of the Korea Press Foundation, and the University Career Exploration Camp of the Science Creativity Foundation.
