The Gwangju Headquarters of the National Disaster Safety Federation announced on the 13th that it is conducting education to prevent safety accidents and to protect the property and lives of the people through prompt action in the event of an accident.
To prepare for disaster safety, education in six major safety areas?▲Daily Safety ▲Traffic Safety ▲Natural Disaster Safety ▲Social Infrastructure Safety ▲Crime Safety ▲Health Safety?is provided through first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and theoretical training. Anyone aged 18 or older can participate.
There are also certifications for creating safer cities. These include the Level 1 and Level 2 "Disaster Prevention Safety Manager" certifications, established under the Enforcement Decree of the Basic Act on National Safety Education Promotion, the Enforcement Decree of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and the Act on Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases.

Upon obtaining these certifications, individuals can engage in entrepreneurship, employment, freelance work, and other activities such as safety management at construction sites and facilities (buildings), education and training management for disaster safety prevention at schools, government offices, and multi-use facilities, facility (building) security, security and quarantine management, safety education surveys, establishment and implementation of joint inspection plans, patrol and dispatch volunteer work for vulnerable groups, volunteer work during safety accidents, proposing safety culture policy opinions, support for serious accidents, and activities as guardians of road, daily life, labor, and child safety.
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Headquarters of the National Disaster Safety Federation is making multifaceted efforts to expand sustainable private-sector job creation by supporting youth, middle-aged, and senior jobs and social activities, as well as regionally tailored jobs.
