Changwon Fire Headquarters Aims for Victory at National Firefighting Skills Competition 'All Clear'

The Changwon Fire Headquarters in Gyeongnam has completed preparations for the participation of Changwon city firefighters aiming for the national championship at the 36th National Firefighting Skills Competition.
The National Firefighting Skills Competition will be held from the 13th to the 16th at the Central Fire Academy in Gongju, Chungnam, where teams representing 19 city and provincial fire headquarters nationwide will compete in nine categories including fire, rescue, emergency medical services, and the strongest firefighter.
The top firefighters from the Changwon Fire Headquarters in Gyeongnam are dedicating themselves to training.
View original imageThe Changwon Fire Headquarters will participate with 23 athletes in six categories, and the results of their hard training will be announced on the 16th.
Additionally, 11 members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade, the local safety guardians, will compete in three categories including hose dragging at the National Volunteer Fire Brigade Skills Competition, showcasing intense competition.
Since February, the Changwon Fire Headquarters has been training rigorously aiming for the national championship, having previously secured the overall first place at the National Firefighting Skills Competition in 2019.
