Damyang-gun and Hwasun-gun Officials Join 'Hometown Love Donation System'
20 Employees from Damyang-gun Family Happiness Division and Hwasun-gun Culture and Arts Division, Mutual Donations to Hometown Love Fund
Employees from the Family Happiness Division of Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, and the Culture and Arts Division of Hwasun-gun joined in mutual donations through the Hometown Love Donation Program, sharing happiness together.
On the 12th, according to the county, 10 employees from the Family Happiness Division of Damyang-gun and 10 employees from the Culture and Arts Division of Hwasun-gun participated respectively, exchanging local specialty return gifts as well.
County Governor Lee Byeong-no expressed gratitude to the employees of both local governments who participated in the donations for regional development, saying, “I hope this mutual donation will help activate the Hometown Love Donation Program and spread the culture of giving in the region.”
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate to local governments other than their place of residence.

Donors receive return gifts worth 30% of the donation amount, with a full tax deduction up to 100,000 KRW and a 16.5% tax credit on the amount exceeding 100,000 KRW.
