In Yangyang-gun, Gangwon Province, a suspected lightning strike incident resulted in one person going into cardiac arrest.

At around 5:33 PM on the 10th, six people collapsed due to a suspected lightning strike at Seorak Beach in Jeonjin-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun.
Among them, one person is in cardiac arrest, and the other five have been transported to nearby hospitals by ambulance and private vehicles for treatment.
The transported patients are reported to be male.

The fire authorities stated, "We responded to a report that 'several people collapsed after being struck by lightning on the beach,' and rescued people who were swept away in the water after being struck by lightning while standing in water up to their knees."
