60s Traffic Controller Fatally Injured by Drowsy Driver During Night Work
At around 11:46 PM on the 8th, a man in his 60s was hit and killed by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) near a middle school in Gohyeon-dong, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Geoje Police Station on the 9th, the deceased, Mr. A, was working as a flagman at a road paving construction site when he was struck by the front bumper of an oncoming vehicle.
He was immediately taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away.
The driver, Mr. B, also in his 60s, was confirmed not to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
