"Ferrari CEO Meets Seoul National University Engineering Students, Calling It a Catalyst for Carbon Neutrality"
Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, announced on the 8th that he had a meeting with students from the College of Engineering at Seoul National University as part of social contribution activities related to education.
CEO Vigna visited Korea from the 1st to the 4th to attend the heritage exhibition "Universo Ferrari," held for the first time in Asia. He invited 10 engineering students from Seoul National University to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) for this event.
The students invited to the event on the 1st toured the exhibition and then attended a roundtable discussion where they conversed with CEO Vigna. The session was conducted in a Q&A format focusing on innovation, technology, and sustainability, discussing the future of Ferrari and the automotive industry.

View original imageIn response to questions about sustainability, he said, "It is time to rethink the 'performance' of cars," emphasizing the need to consider how to efficiently manage the carbon footprint during the process of achieving vehicle performance.
He added, "Ferrari prioritizes the efficient management of its carbon footprint and will serve as a catalyst to drive these changes."
CEO Vigna stressed, "All these processes at Ferrari are a good example showing that 'sustainability' is not only an industrial buzzword but also a concrete and measurable concept for environmental protection."
Some of the students who attended the roundtable will be invited to visit Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello, Italy, in the second half of this year to tour the manufacturing facilities.
