Promotion of Excellent Products and Technologies of Local Bio Companies and Support for Domestic and International Market Development
The 2023 Biohealthcare Industry Special Exhibition will be held for three days from the 8th to the 10th at COEX Hall D in Seoul.
On the 8th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced that it will hold a special exhibition for the biohealthcare industry to promote excellent products and technologies of regional bio companies and to open new markets and advance into overseas markets.
The Ministry, together with the Korea Bio Specialized Center Council, composed of 48 regional bioindustry support organizations nationwide, supports the establishment of regional bioindustry infrastructure and commercialization. This special exhibition is the first event where regional bioindustry support organizations and companies introduce their products and technologies together.
About 50 regional bio companies and support organizations will participate. They will promote excellent products and technologies in various bio fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, and cosmetics, and operate on-site one-on-one business consultations and seminars. This event will not only promote the achievements of the regional bioindustry but also help regional bio companies open new markets and activate exports.

An official from the Ministry said, "Through this special exhibition, we plan to confirm and review the achievements of the infrastructure projects for creating a regional bioindustry ecosystem and strengthen cooperation so that regional bioindustry support organizations and companies can create mutual synergy in the future."
