Are we supposed to fend for ourselves even if a war breaks out?'" He emphasized, "President Yoon Suk-yeol must immediately take strict responsibility for this (false alert) incident that caused public anxiety and distrust."
Lee added, "No one in the government takes responsibility for the confusion and anxiety caused," and directed toward President Yoon, "It is appropriate to clearly explain the progress to the public and apologize for causing anxiety by sounding the air raid siren from early morning."
On the same day, Lee also expressed the government's efforts to overcome the deepened livelihood and economic crisis after COVID-19.

Lee said, "The government must now prepare countermeasures to normalize exports and recover the economy," and added, "Special measures to support the lives of ordinary people and revive the uncertain and stagnating economy, including a supplementary budget (chugyeong), must also be thoroughly considered."
