Singer Ali Appointed as Air Force Public Relations Ambassador
Singer Ali (39, real name Jo Yong-jin) has been appointed as an Air Force ambassador. He will attend various internal and external events of the Air Force and play a role in promoting the Air Force's four core values: challenge, dedication, expertise, and teamwork.
On the 2nd, the Air Force announced that Air Force Chief of Staff Jeong Sang-hwa presented Ali with a commission plaque and the Air Force symbol, the 'Red Scarf,' at the appointment ceremony held the previous day.
Ali is part of an 'Air Force family,' as his younger brother enlisted as an Air Force interpreter officer. He has maintained ties with the military by performing at events such as the Air Force Autumn Concert held last year at Gyeryongdae in Chungnam.
