Golfzon Cultural Foundation "Hosting Grand Golf Festival for People with Disabilities"
Co-hosted with the Korea Paralympic Committee
Successfully Held at Golfzon Joymaru and Anseong H
The Golfzon Foundation announced on the 1st that it held the 2023 Disabled Golf Festival together with the Korea Paralympic Committee.
The event was organized to promote social participation, physical fitness, and expand golf experience opportunities for people with disabilities. On May 30th, a disabled screen golf tournament was held at Daejeon Golfzon Joymaru, followed by a disabled field golf tournament the next day at Golfzon County Anseong H in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. Sixty participants competed in the screen tournament, and 40 participated in the field tournament.
The Golfzon Foundation has been hosting the disabled screen golf tournament since 2012. The field tournament began in 2017. This year’s event was co-hosted by the Golfzon Foundation and the Korea Disabled Golf Association. Attendees included Kim Young-chan, Chairman of the Golfzon Foundation; Choi Deok-hyung, CEO of Golfzon Nudin Holdings; Jung Jin-wan, President of the Korea Paralympic Committee; and Song Tae-seop, President of the Korea Disabled Golf Association.

Chairman Kim stated, "In accordance with our management philosophy of sharing and consideration, we support rehabilitation activities for disabled golfers," adding, "We will continue to create a platform for communication through golf and deliver hope to aspiring disabled golfers." Established in 2010, the Golfzon Foundation practices neighborly love through initiatives such as Golfzon Neighbor Love Happiness Sharing, the Hope Happiness Sharing Festival cultural events for multicultural and single-parent families’ children, cultural rounds for artists, and hosting charity golf tournaments.
