GKL Receives 'S Grade' in Public Institution Personal Information Management Level Assessment
Achieving 'Top Grade' for 4 Consecutive Years Since 2019
Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) announced on the 1st that it received the highest grade, S grade, for the fourth consecutive year in the '2022 Public Institution Personal Information Management Level Diagnosis' conducted by the Personal Information Protection Commission under the Prime Minister's Office.
The Public Institution Personal Information Management Level Diagnosis has been conducted since 2008 to assess the personal information management systems and leakage prevention activities of public institutions to ensure that citizens' personal information is safely managed.
This diagnosis targeted 799 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public institutions. It evaluated 61 quantitative indicators related to legal obligations and 6 qualitative indicators regarding the appropriateness of innovative policy tasks.
GKL scored a total of 99 out of 100 points and received the S grade for four consecutive years since 2019. Specifically, efforts such as ▲operating a dedicated information protection organization ▲conducting a full survey of video information processing devices (surveillance systems) due to the special nature of the casino business ▲checking the status of member information processing ▲strengthening capabilities through professional qualification acquisition by dedicated personnel were recognized.
