Prosecutors Summon Jang In-woo, CEO of Gojin Motors, for Providing Vehicle to Cho Hyun-beom
The prosecution investigating allegations of unfair transactions involving Cho Hyun-beom, Chairman of Hankook Tire & Technology, and Jang Seon-woo, CEO of Geukdong Yuhwa, summoned Jang In-woo, CEO of Gojin Motors and older brother of CEO Jang, for questioning as a suspect on the 31st.
The Fair Trade Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Lee Jeong-seop) reportedly questioned CEO Jang In-woo on the 31st, suspecting that he provided vehicles owned by Gojin Motors to Chairman Cho's side at the request of his younger brother, CEO Jang Seon-woo.

Gojin Motors is the official domestic dealer of Audi. The prosecution is examining suspicions that Wooam Construction, established by CEO Jang Seon-woo, won construction contracts and then paid kickbacks to Chairman Cho as compensation for these deals. During this process, the prosecution also uncovered evidence of personal corruption such as breach of trust and embezzlement by CEO Jang Seon-woo, leading to a search and seizure of his residence and related offices in April.
