According to major foreign media, Mariusz Błaszczak, Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, announced at the 'Defense24Day' conference held on the 24th in Warsaw that "this year, the 'Orka' program for submarine acquisition will begin."
He added, "The bidding will start soon," and "The Ministry of National Defence will disclose information such as the number of submarines to be acquired, required equipment, and basic performance."
He also introduced the approximate required performance of the submarines to be acquired.
