View original imageOn the 24th, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority held a briefing session at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Osaka, Japan, inviting local shipping and logistics officials to introduce Pyeongtaek Port.
The briefing was organized to promote the activation of the container route between Pyeongtaek, Osaka, and Nagoya, which was established in September last year, and to enhance the competitiveness of Pyeongtaek Port.
During the briefing, Pyeongtaek Port Authority presented the competitiveness and usage advantages of Pyeongtaek Port, Hanjin Pyeongtaek Container Terminal introduced the port operation services, and Panstarline.com highlighted the benefits of the direct Pyeongtaek-Japan route.
Pyeongtaek Port Authority plans to continuously carry out cargo attraction marketing focused on logistics cost reduction effects targeting interested companies.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, stated, "We hope this briefing will serve as an opportunity for local Japanese officials to positively consider using the container route between Pyeongtaek and Japan," adding, "We will strive to create many business opportunities for companies in both Korea and Japan through the use of Pyeongtaek Port."

Along with promotional marketing to attract Japanese cargo in the region, Pyeongtaek Port Authority will also conduct port sales in Bangkok, Thailand, in July to increase Southeast Asian cargo volume.
