Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) conducted maintenance activities targeting 4 street stalls in the Gosan Jaro and Wangsanno areas at night on the 23rd.
The district conducted a street vendor survey in December last year to accurately identify the current status of street stalls, and based on the results, began full-scale maintenance activities.
The current maintenance targets include 2 street stalls with changed operators and 2 long-term abandoned street stalls.
Including this maintenance activity, the district plans to remove a total of 56 locations: 37 illegal street stalls, 19 street vendors and sidewalk business facilities whose road occupancy permits were canceled, and will continue to maintain newly occurring or operator-changed street stalls.
