"Efforts to Establish a Sustainable Travel Culture"
Hana Tour announced on the 22nd that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to strengthen its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities.
The UNGC is the world's largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative under the United Nations, established in 2000 in New York, USA, as an international agreement to promote sustainability and corporate citizenship awareness. Currently, it has members from over 20,000 companies and organizations across 177 countries worldwide.
With its membership in the UNGC, Hana Tour plans to establish a strategic vision for ESG management activities and internalize key aspects of ESG management. It will disclose an implementation report (COP) in 2024 that contains sustainable management performance to various stakeholders, including users and local communities.
