Local Universities Join Hands for Successful Hosting of 'Daejeon Midnight Festival'
Local universities are cooperating in preparing Daejeon's 'Daejeon 0 o'clock Festival.'
On the 19th, Daejeon City announced that it signed a business agreement with seven local universities?Konyang University, Mokwon University, Paichai University, Woosong University, Chungnam National University, Hannam University, and Hanbat National University?to successfully hold the 'Daejeon 0 o'clock Festival.'
According to the agreement, Daejeon City will prioritize recruiting and hiring local university students as festival participants, while the universities will take on roles such as forming a support group of international students and assisting with event promotion.
The festival is scheduled to be held from August 11 to 17 along a 1 km section of Jungang-ro connecting Daejeon Station and the old Chungnam Provincial Office, as well as throughout the original downtown commercial district.

Lee Jang-woo, Mayor of Daejeon, expressed gratitude to the local universities for joining hands to ensure the festival's success, saying, "The city will work as one team with the partner universities to make sure that the best summer festival in the country can be held in the region."
