A man in his 20s who surrendered for drug offenses... even attempted extreme measures
A man in his 20s who turned himself in to the police with drugs later attempted an extreme act.
On the 17th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had booked a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act on the 6th.
On the 6th, Mr. A went to a police substation carrying drugs and confessed to having used them. The police took Mr. A voluntarily for a simple drug test, but the result came back negative.
Two days after turning himself in, at around 7 p.m. on the 8th, Mr. A attempted an extreme act at his residence in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. His girlfriend reported the incident to the police, and the responding officers rescued Mr. A. He was hospitalized by the police.
