Suwon City to Conduct Joint Inspection of Kindergarten Meal Expenses Until July
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will conduct on-site guidance and inspections of school meal expenses at private kindergartens within the jurisdiction from May to July.
On the 17th, Suwon City announced that, in collaboration with the Suwon Office of Education's meal team, it will randomly select 20 private kindergartens that have not been inspected from 2020 to 2022 to check the actual operation status on-site.
The main inspection items include ▲ details of meal expense support for 2023 ▲ whether meal expenses were properly executed and any cases of improper receipt ▲ storage and management status of meal-related documents (meal logs, meal expense expenditure data, etc.).
Suwon City plans to request improvements from kindergartens if any areas needing supplementation are found during the inspection.
A Suwon City official said, "Through on-site guidance and inspections, we will ensure transparency in the execution of meal expenses and ensure that meal operations are conducted properly," and asked for active cooperation from the kindergartens subject to inspection.
