ANP, Q1 Operating Profit Turns Positive... Turnaround Signal
ANP, a specialized manufacturer of PCBs for electronic components and automotive parts, is embarking on a full-scale performance improvement for the first time in seven years, starting with a return to profitability in the first quarter.
ANP announced on the 15th that its separate sales in the first quarter of this year reached 39.5 billion KRW, a 100.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit and net income for the same period turned positive, recording 2.2 billion KRW and 700 million KRW respectively. On a consolidated basis, sales were 39.2 billion KRW, with an operating profit of 80 million KRW. The net loss was 1.6 billion KRW.
In the first quarter, the printed circuit board (PCB) business showed stable growth. The PCB division recorded consolidated sales of 30.9 billion KRW, a 65% increase compared to the same period last year. The newly acquired sheet business division, purchased from YSP in August last year, also contributed to sales growth with 6.7 billion KRW in sales.
ANP expects continuous sales growth and profitability improvement starting this year. Recently, as the supply shortage of automotive semiconductors has eased, the increase in new car supply is expected to lead to a corresponding rise in the supply of PCBs for electronic components and automotive seats.
