Legoland Korea, 1 Million Visitors in the First Year Since Opening

Legoland Korea (Legoland) announced on the 10th that the cumulative number of visitors surpassed 1 million within one year since its opening on Children's Day last year.

Legoland stated that from this announcement onward, it plans to regularly disclose visitor numbers each time the cumulative count reaches increments of 1 million. It also added that it has established a cooperative system with Chuncheon City and Gangwon Province to create synergy in marketing activities aimed at increasing visitors since the opening, and is making various efforts in this regard.
Currently, 60% of annual pass consumers at Legoland reside outside the Chuncheon and Gangwon regions. Last year, it attracted about 500 foreigners and over 30,000 student group visitors, and this year it expects to attract more than 20,000 foreigners and over 50,000 student group visitors.

Operations and facility improvements to increase visitors are also underway. From the end of April to October this year, for about six months, Legoland will be the first among the global Legolands located in 10 cities worldwide to implement night openings. Around July, a children's water play facility will also open for summer vacationers.
