Shinsegae Food's 'Better Salad' Surpasses 10,000 Units in Cumulative Sales
100% Plant-Based Alternative Meat Slice Ham Applied
10,000 Units Sold in 20 Days
Shinsegae Food announced on the 10th that the 'Better Salad' from No Brand Burger, which features 100% plant-based ham, has sold about 500 units daily and surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 10,000 units within 20 days of its launch.
Better Salad is a menu item introduced at No Brand Burger as part of the 'Better Week' campaign, which proposes a low-carbon healthy diet to consumers. It is characterized by fresh vegetables such as lettuce, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, and olives, topped with 'Better Meat' cold-cut slice ham made from 100% plant-based ingredients, enhancing both flavor and texture.
Shinsegae Food believes that Better Salad has been well received by consumers and plans to launch the 'Better Burger,' made entirely from 100% plant-based ingredients, on the 16th. The Better Burger features a plant-based bun developed in-house by Shinsegae Food, a Better Meat patty, and plant-based sauce and cheese. Among burger franchises worldwide, No Brand Burger's Better Burger is the first to include plant-based cheese. In June, they will also introduce 'Better Nuggets,' which replicate the taste and texture of chicken nuggets using 100% plant-based ingredients.
