'Fake News Damage Report and Counseling Center' Opens... Connecting Victims with Relief Agencies
The Korea Press Foundation will open the "Fake News Damage Report and Consultation Center" (hereinafter referred to as the Center) on the morning of the 9th at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The Center's main task is to assist citizens who have been harmed by fake news or false manipulated information (hereinafter fake news) and connect them with appropriate relief agencies.
The Center will provide guidance on ▲the damage consultation and mediation application procedures of the Korea Press Arbitration Commission ▲the internet damage relief reporting procedures ▲legal knowledge and procedures related to civil and criminal rights protection. Professional consultations through law firms will also be supported.
