BMW Korea Future Foundation announced on the 4th that it has successfully conducted the first 'Young Talent Dream Project' of the year.

Now in its third year of operation, the 'Young Talent Dream Project' is a specialized lecture program focused on the automotive industry. It was established to help talented high school and university students grow into leaders. To date, the cumulative number of students participating in the Young Talent Dream Project has reached 1,745.

The lectures are composed of three core themes: job exploration, career direction setting, and understanding the automotive industry. By introducing various job experiences within the industry, the program aims to enable students to independently explore their career paths and create opportunities for growth. BMW Korea employees and official dealer technicians serve as lecturers, delivering content and job information related to the overall automotive industry.

About 90 students from all grades of Yeosu Technical High School attended the first lecture of the year held on the 3rd. Lee Gi-seong, a technician at BMW National Motors Meister Lab, served as the lecturer and shared insights on the automotive mechanic profession and vivid practical field know-how.

Yeosu Technical High School received a research MINI vehicle through the BMW Korea Future Foundation in 2021. Additionally, it produced 18 successful candidates by 2022 for the German-style work-study employment program 'Ausbildung' introduced and operated by BMW Group Korea.

The BMW Korea Future Foundation plans to conduct lectures for students from a total of 20 high schools, universities, and institutions, including Yeosu Technical High School, throughout this year. Starting this year, the foundation aims to expand the target audience of the lectures to provide quality educational opportunities to more students.
