Seoul Eunpyeong-gu '100 Villa Units' Jeonse Fraud Landlord Booked
A landlord who owns 100 villas in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, was booked by the police for not returning the jeonse deposit to tenants.
According to the police on the 1st, the Western Seoul Police Station booked landlord A, suspected of not returning jeonse deposits to tenants in mid-March, on charges of fraud.
The number of victims is estimated to be over 20, and the amount of damage investigated so far reaches about 2 billion KRW. The police are investigating on the suspicion that A committed jeonse fraud through a no-capital gap investment method.
