President Yoon and First Lady Kim Keon-hee arrived at Boston Logan International Airport that evening and will officially begin their Boston schedule on the 28th. At the airport, Korean representatives including Consul General Yu Gi-jun and his spouse from the Boston Consulate, Jang Young-su, president of the Massachusetts Korean Association, Han Seon-woo, chairman of the Boston Council of the Advisory Council on Peaceful Unification, as well as American officials such as Maura Healey, Governor of Massachusetts, and Yvonne Hao, Secretary of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, welcomed the presidential couple. President Yoon will hold discussions with scholars in the digital and bio fields at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston and attend the Korea-U.S. Cluster Roundtable event. At Harvard University's Kennedy School, he will deliver a policy speech on the theme "A New Journey Toward Freedom." He will also engage in a discussion with Joseph Nye, a distinguished professor of international politics. President Yoon will depart for his return trip on the 29th, concluding his Boston schedule.
