Yojin Construction Industry announced on the 25th that it has succeeded in securing a public sector order by winning the contract for the construction of a new integrated sewage treatment plant in Nam-myeon, Inje-gun.
This project, commissioned by the Korea Environment Corporation, involves constructing a new integrated sewage treatment plant in San 40-16, Bupyeong-ri, Nam-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon-do. The project includes building sewage treatment facilities, 27.35 km of sewage pipelines, 17 manhole pump stations, and drainage facilities for 272 households. The construction period is 938 days from the start date, and the contract amount is 18.281 billion KRW.
This project is being carried out in response to increased sewage discharge from military units and residential houses, which has worsened water pollution in the river. It is expected to improve the water quality of the discharge area and contribute to enhancing residents' health and hygiene.
A Yojin Construction official stated, "We will strive to enhance our sales capabilities and technical skills to expand civil engineering orders in the public sector through this contract." He added, "Based on Yojin Construction's competitive portfolio, including construction, distribution, and hotel businesses, we will carry out order activities in various fields as well as the public sector."
