Sejong University Establishes Guidelines for Using Generative AI
Sejong University announced on the 17th that it has established guidelines for the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT, which has recently become a hot topic.
Generative AI refers to AI technology that creates new content similar to existing content by utilizing documents, code, images, speech, videos, 3D images, formulas, music, gaming, and more.
Sejong University created separate guidelines for professors and students. For professors, the recommendations include ▲ discussing and sharing with students the academic ethical use of generative AI ▲ discussing the reasons for maintaining academic purposes and a high level of academic integrity and supporting students' active learning participation ▲ informing students to directly review and selectively use the outputs of generative AI ▲ advising that students are responsible for any issues arising from submitting outputs without review.
