At the end of the lecture, Ko asked the students to climb onto their chairs. She said, "I concluded the lecture in the style of Mr. John Keating from 'Dead Poets Society'." In the photos she shared, a scene from the movie 'Dead Poets Society,' famous for the line "Carpe diem!" (Seize the day), was displayed on the screen behind her on the podium.
She said, "Although students are at a stage of life where they face reality and seek direction, they have become accustomed to being told 'Don't do that' and to 'finding the right answer.' However, since they must create their own paths through more experiences, I encouraged them to look at the world from a different perspective."
