Daejeon City Provides 'Comprehensive Legal Services' Support to Small Business Owners
Daejeon City will provide ‘comprehensive legal services’ to local small business owners.
The city announced on the 29th that it will operate a comprehensive legal consultation center to support small business owners with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less, who have business locations within the city, by assisting with legal document preparation, dispute mediation, and expert appointment fees for litigation.
The Legal Consultation Center will operate by assigning consultation dates after prior application, with consultations held in the civil service meeting room and conference room on the 2nd floor of Daejeon City Hall.
Consultations will be held twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) from 1 PM to 3 PM, either face-to-face or by phone, depending on the circumstances of the small business owners.
Through the Legal Consultation Center, the city will provide support in various fields including general legal matters, commercial lease, taxation, labor, and administration.
Additionally, if it is determined that further support is needed after consultation, such as preparing legal documents like certified letters or appointing experts for dispute mediation or litigation, the city plans to provide additional assistance.
Applications for support will be accepted on an ongoing basis from the announcement date. More detailed information can be found on the Daejeon Biz website under the ‘Small Business Legal Service Support Project’ announcement.
Further details can also be obtained through the city’s Small Business Policy Division.
