Interpark "Winter Season Travel and Ticket Transactions Reach 783.9 Billion Won... Record High"
December Last Year to February This Year Data
2.6 Times Increase Compared to the Same Period Last Year
Interpark announced on the 29th that during the winter season from December last year to February this year, the transaction amount for travel and ticket businesses reached 783.9 billion KRW, marking a 2.6-fold increase compared to the same period last year (304.5 billion KRW), setting an all-time high.
By month, the transaction amount in December last year reached 284.5 billion KRW, and the transaction amounts for the other months also exceeded 200 billion KRW. The company explained that the biggest reason was the surge in demand for overseas travel and performance attendance, which had been suppressed for three years due to COVID-19, starting from the end of last year.
They also added that strengthening customer benefits in areas such as airline tickets, accommodations, packages, activities, and travel content, and providing corresponding travel products and services had an impact.
