Yeongsangang Regional Environmental Office, Capacity Building Training for Hazardous Chemical Business Operators
The Yeongsan River Basin Environmental Office will conduct a 'Hazardous Chemical Substance Operator Training' on the 29th at the main auditorium of the office building, targeting 160 business sites licensed to handle hazardous chemical substances in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions (excluding the Gwangyang Bay area).
This training will proceed in the order of operator compliance requirements under the 'Chemical Substances Control Act,' standards and management of handling facilities, and prevention and response to chemical accidents.

Han Byung-seon, Head of the Chemical Safety Management Division at the Yeongsan River Basin Environmental Office, stated, "This training will help hazardous chemical substance operators enhance their autonomous management capabilities at business sites and contribute to the prevention of chemical accidents through competency-building education."
